I suggest Bangkok. Why? Because of the illumination and the xmas decorations. Especially at night it looks fabulous. Take a taxi to the Grand Palace, and enjoy it from the outside. It is illuminated, and looks like a dream. On the way towards it you'll see the streets decorated with little xmas lights, like in a xmas tree. But much, much more.

Without a doubt Bangkok. The best place of Thailand in any time of the year. Moreover, on Christmas it becomes such a lovely place with decorations and illuminations.

Right, Bangkok is a large city, with many tourist attractions and major shopping centers.
