The historical aspects of Sukothai are very nice places to visit. They really do give you an idea of how Thailand was hundreds of years ago. I find Sukothai really interesting. It's unique. Nowehere has the feel it has, except perhaps Ankor Wat and the pyramids. It really does take you into another world.
