Patong Almost Back to Life

I went to Phuket last weekend (5-6 Feb). I saw lot of tourists lay on the beach and swiming like nothing had happened. To be honest, this is probably the best to pay a visit as the beach is quite clean and most of the hotels have droped their price down more than 50% of thier regular price.

My friend is married to a Thai woman and he just got back from Phuket where she was living. He said the beach is beautiful and the water is clear- you can see to the bottom from chest deep. He said you would never know that a tsunami hit Patong although there is a little bit more construction than you would expect...

His wife was living in Kamala beach area which is just near Patong but more undeveloped and he said there it still looked pretty wiped out.

I agree that now is probably the best time ever to visit Phuket.

Phuket's west coast is a really nice and beautiful destination for travelling lovers. I would like to suggest you to go there for having and enjoying some days with family members after ending my montreal bus tour. I hope so Iwill best time to be theer and enjoy my holidays soon.
