    To mark the auspicious occasion of H.M the King's 60 year on the throne in 2006. the Sala Chalermkrung Foundation has joined hands with the Tourism Authority of thailand and the Crown Property Bureau to launch the "Sala Chalermkrung Khon" Project. In the footsteps of His Majesty in preserving art and cultural heritage, the project will showcase this classical art to Thais and the rest of world.

    Besides Khon, Sala Chalermkrung with its hidtory of over half a century is selected as the venue. It is an iconic venue where national showpieces are exhibited in the style of breathking presentation and authenticity.
    The project aims to instill love and appreciation for national heritage among Thais. They also aim to perpatuate national arts and artists to enhance Thailand's cultural prestigPlease insert content in this area.
