    Date: 10-25 November 2011
Venue: Muang Thong Thani, Nontaburi, Thailand

The event will also highlight the achievements of Thai industry in the areas of technology and innovation, which will greatly enhance its efficiency and competitiveness in the future and result in new, environment-friendly production. In addition, it will provide an occasion for members of the industrial community to meet, conduct business, and network.

Just as importantly, BOI Fair 2011 will build confidence in Thailand’s economy while also improving the country’s image. It will give wide exposure to the Thai industrial sector’s commitment to serving society and to preserving the natural environment.

BOI Fair 2011: Going Green for the Future will encompass both outdoor and indoor areas totalling about 240,000 square metres. The outdoor area, occupying 166,000 square metres of space beside the Muang Thong Thani lake, will feature the Royal Pavilion, 84 outdoor pavilions, in reference to H. M. the King’s 84th birthday in 2011, and areas for entertainment and performances.

Each outdoor pavilion will cover an area of 500 square metres and will be used to exhibit the latest technology and innovation from both Thai and foreign countries. The indoor exhibits will be divided into two parts. The first will be located in Hall 9 and will occupy about 11,000 square metres. It will include seminar facilities and display area for government agencies, foreign embassies, foreign chambers of commerce, and tourism promotion activities. Outstanding products made by folk artisans based on the local Thai wisdom will also be shown.

The second part of the indoor exhibits will be located in Challenger 1 – 3, which have a total area of approximately 60,000 square metres. The space will be used to display and sell products from many different industries, including agriculture, food, beverages, electrical devices, fashion, gems, and ornamental items. Five-star OTOP products; high-quality, economically-priced consumer goods, utensils; and home decorator items will also be displayed and sold, and there will be a “Four-Regions
Feast” offering food from Thailand’s four regions.
