Any recommendation on where to get great local food in Bangkok?

I am going to Bangkok in Mid March and I really love Thai food. Any suggestion on where to get a really Thai food?

I always like to sample the foods from the street vendors. There are many good restaurants in the busy parts of town but I would visit the markets too. Just be careful to make sure the food is cooked well. It may take a few days for your system to get used to the food but it is delicious.
