Thailand is good country. I have visited many cities in Thailand by buses, train and reserved car.
It's not really difficult to get around Thailand. There's a lot of beautiful places and exploring it is very much all worth it. However, the traffic in the the CBD area in BKK is just annoying. Regardless, I love everything about Thailand will be in ChiangMai at the end of this month, after my week-long stay in Boracay, Philippines.
Get around in Thailand is inexpensive. You have a number of options to travel around. Buses are fast while trains are slower. You can have minibuses, ferries and share-taxis to access islands.

can anybody suggest a car rental company in Thailand? I mean a decent one not some rip-offs

There is no doubt, all of these islands are the famous island of Thailand and the traveler wants to explore these islands again and again. Koh Samui and Ko Yao Yai are my favorite island there. Koh Samui and the Koh Chang are my most favorites islands in Thailand. I really like this and would really love to explore the beauty of these again and again in my life for sure for having fun. The beauty of these attracts me a lot and force me to go there again and again in my life.
Honestly speaking both of these places are new to me I have never visited in my life. After reading your views about this Pace I really wanna to go there with m my friends after mine bus trip to grand canyon from Long Beach. So would you like to suggest me which places I should explore first?
Akira! I suggest you will explore firstly Koh Samui. Because it is a home of nature beauty. you could see there alluring and nature beauty.
