Koh Samui is a beautiful tropical island that charms its visitors... Big Buddha (Wat Phra Yai) ; Hin Ta / Hin Yai ; Namuang Waterfall
Angthong ('Golden Bowl') National Marine Park is a group of around 40 islands (including Koh Mae-Ko, Koh Wua Ta Lap, Koh Sam Sao, Koh Hin Dab, Koh Nai Put and Koh Pai Luk) northwest of Koh Samui.
The Big Buddha is almost certainly Koh Samui's most famous landmark, and has probably become an icon for the island.
Located on the eastern side of Koh Samui, 7-kilometre-long Chaweng Beach is the 'happening' part of Samui, and as a result, certainly the most developed.
Hin Ta (Grandfather rock) and Hin Yai (Grandmother rock) are big granite boulders located in close proximity to each other at the south end of Lamai Beach. They are probably Thailand?s only natural attractions that should receive a ?Parental Guidance
Koh Samui's second largest beach and probably its most beautiful.
There are a number of waterfalls on Koh Samui, but Namuang is by far the most impressive. 30-metres high, Namuang is set in some against a jungle backdrop and it is an excellent place for swimming and picnics.
